Default My season: done-w/ no deer

Well, after hunting almost every day of the season, I ended with no deer in the freezer. Could've shot a doe at 20 yards, but I thought it wasnt in the best position, but now I kind of regret not shooting because I was at 20 yards and I guess it would've killed it clean. But next year should be different I hope, I have Tinks #69, new rattle bag...etc. We'll just call this a lucky season for the deer that I saw.

At least you got to see deer on your hunts. How many did you see over the season?

Don't fret...It happens to all of us hunters from time to time. Good luck to you next season.

Don't feel bad Kreg...just finished my 3rd season without a deer. Could've shot several, but elected to wait on a certain one. We'll get 'em next year.

I didn't get a deer either this season. Only seen two bucks, no does. No good shots. Better luck next season.<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

I have a friend who I hunt with that hasn't taken a deer in the last two years. It just happens that way sometimes .Lots of luck for next year .

Ben there and done that but; that is not a problem to me, I will probably do it again. It used to really bother me, not any more. The older you get the more you are greatful that you were able to hunt and enjoy it whether you bagged a deer or not.

It happens to alot more hunters then they will admit.I ended up the same way a few years ago without even getting a doe in gun season. We take turns driving deer and it seemed like every time I was the driver there were deer shot. When I was a stander I wouldn't see any deer.I guess thats why they call it hunting.
