Fool the hell out of him and be in a treestand the next time! Whack him while he's staring at your ground blind.

Yeah though about it but he comes out in a different spot every time so I don't know if the tree stand in that food plot will give me a shot at him

No mans land is no where near shooting a deer in his chest. No mans land is above the lungs and below the spine on a broadside shot. Imo you may have screwed up if you don't see him again bc not shooting at 180yds when your dialed in that good at 150 is a definite missed oppurtunity for you. Wouldn't have hesitsted for a second to take that shot at all and neither should you. That small difference in yardage is nothing for a rifle at all. Anyways good luck.

If you put your scopes crosshairs directly in the middle of his chest the bullet has to bypass his vitals to hit his guts=dead deer. I have shot several with a 223 with a 55 grain bullet and it drops them everytime, bigger guns make more of a mess so I try to avoid that shot because I no longer use my 223 for deer (not legal in VA). But I can tell you if I have a trophy buck standing in front of me facing me he is going to get a 139 Grain pill from my 7X57 right into the chest!

wait for broadside, but utilize the gun.
Your good to 225-250 NO PROBLEM....unless your not using a scope. I guess thats the issue.
BE CONFIDENT. HOLD TRUE. SKQWWEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZEE !

You'll be surprised . Hold a inch or two high.....won't hurt you.

Bet he's down on the ground !

What a strange post...

I can shoot 1" groups at 150 yards, but won't shoot a deer at 180. C'mon man. Shoot the friggin' thing already.

You need to contact the OP or better yet the kid in the "Sons First Deer" post to learn how to pull the trigger.
