Nice name, "NiceRack".
The guys here at work mention your name all the time, usually right after a well-endowed woman walks by. No, it's probably not related though.
Maybe you could kill a deer using a slingshot if you hit him in the butt and scare him so bad that he jumps up and hits his head against a tree knocking himself out. Then you could go beat him to death with your club made from a mastadon rib bone.
Just kidding. Maybe you should change your name to "David".
Keep 'em all in the Bull.

Welcome to the board,This is a first. I never heard about using a slingshot for deer. Not knowing the laws in your state I can't accurately answer. Off the top of my head I would say No it's not legal. If your set on using a slingshot, if nothing else use a Double barrel slingshot.Only joking....Check with your local authorities. Ruger Redhawk

Nice rack its not legal to hunt deer here with a slingshot but I have used one while deer hunting especialy when I'm alone .not to kill the deer but to find the deer . I wonder if anyone knows how it helped .

halcon I have you figured out. You would shoot the slingshot in thickets, bedding areas etc, making noise to flush them out.The least bit of noise will alarm them and get them on the move. Very clever!Your very sly. Ruger Redhawk

Dang Ruger, you beat me to the draw. That was exactly what I was thinking before I got down to your post. I must have read the same articles you have. They say it works great when you can sit on a side hill and shoot down into a draw or valley below and scare the deer up. I would say that move would most likely be legal in any state. I thought for a few minutes Nice Rack was trying to out do my spear hunting. Ha!
