Welcome to the board,This is a first. I never heard about using a slingshot for deer.Not knowing the laws in your state I can't accurately answer. Off the top of my head I would say No it's not legal.If your set on using a slingshot, if nothing else use a Double barrel slingshot.Only joking....Check with your local authorities. Ruger Redhawk
