New member here!
Hey guys, im a new member here...and this is a great place for hunting information. I gota question for you guys....is it illegal to hunt deer with a slingshot in season...or is there a slingshot season or what....Sorry i dont know alot about hunting..but thats why I am here to learn more..anyways thanks for the help..

FIRST WELCOME TO THE BOARD, TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION YOU MIGHT WANT TO CALL AND TALK TO YOUR LOCAL GAME DEPARTMENT AND SEE IF ITS LEGAL, TO ME IT DOESN'T SOUNDS LIKE IT WOULD BE LEGAL. BUT EACH STATE IS DIFFERENT

Nicerack welcome to the board, are you serious about the slinshot? I do not see how you could humanely kill a deer with a slingshot, but hey maybe I am wrong.

Welcome, yeah, I don't know about the slingshot. How in the world could you kill a deer with a slingshot? I have never heard anything about slingshots for hunting so they probablly are illegal. You might want to call your Game Commission though.

Welcome to the board. I have not been here long, but have received alot of good info. Never be afraid to ask what you think is a stupid question, because someone like me probably has the same questiuon. I would never hunt deer with a slingshot however even if it was legal, I have enough trouble getting them with a shotgun. I agree with checking with your DNR to see about the sslingshot thing. Man we all thought the spear was a primitive weapon!!
