Default Deer Stand Location?

Alright guys this is my second year to hunt and my fisrt year to have my own spot on a lease. Now im just kind of lost on where to put my blind. My main spot im lookig at is down in a small valley with alot of ceder cover by a small stock tank. I was just going to see if you guys could give me some tips on picking a spot or any other tips for a begginer.

Nothing beats laying down a lot of boot prints. Walk the lease and look for sign.

Preseason scouting + practice + patience = confidence = success.

Don' t go too deep in. set up and look down in. check the wind coming out of
the valley. I have been busted too many times hunting low and deer coming
down to me.
