ozark deer hunter

I hunt in both missouri and illinois, and i think one is just as good as the other but i talked to a man the other day who swore that illinois was better hunting then missouri. what do u think?

I also hunt in Missouri. I think it depends on what you' re looking for. Size or quantity. I think Illinois has some bigger deer due to more cropland. Even in Missouri, the northern part of the state seems to have bigger deer because there is more cropland. I hunt along the Missouri River where there is a good mix of cropland and timber. Lots of deer, and occassionaly a monster.
