Depends on where there's more deer activity, i have a ground blind set up on a cedar ridge overlooking a lowland area, while i have a tree-stand set up on a slope facing a swamp.

I mostly use my climber or ladder stands but I do use a ground blind once in a while to hunt with my wife.

I hunted from a tree box blind the last few years. I'm getting too old to get up (and down) from it. Took it down and built a new ground blind on the hill by the old stand. Almost as good a view and much more stable.

Treestand in early to mid season then ground blind when it gets tooo cold to be 20 feet up in the air with the cold cold Ohio winter wind beating on you. I have had great success with both.

I only hunt during the firearms season and always used a tree stand until last year when I used a ground blind set up on the edge of a corn field. Oh man, it's so nice to be able to move and stretch and take a drink or pee without so much concern about being busted. I got my first deer earlier than ever last year using the blind.

Tree Stand during Bow because your higher in the air and can see more of the woods but it all depends on your style of hunting
