Default Bow hunting in Illinois suburbs

I am finding it very difficult to find bow hunting land in the Western suburbs of the Chicago area. I have tried to talk to farmers in the area but none seem too anxious to let me hunt. Are they just not trusting today's hunters or are they too worried about getting sued. This is very frustrating. Perhaps there are just too many hunters per square mile. Well, if anyone is looking for a hunting partner in the far west suburbs of Chicago and have a place to bow hunt, let me know.
I am a 45 yr old family man with a passion for bow hunting, and I am running out of time. The season is coming soon and I really would like to put something in the freezer this season.
