Anyone in Virginia finding any sheds yet? I haven't seen any walking around sporting head gear lately so I'm thinking they may have begun to shed. Seems a little early for this area though.

It is still shot gun season here on Long Island,NY. Talked with a buddy last saturday and his uncles shot bucks with full racks still! It has been warm here sadly thinking the warm temps are messing up the shedding??? going out this sat and sunday where i had a nice 10pnt but was in friends tree stand and was not the best tree to be in...

Where about in MN are you? I have not been out looking yet, but have heard of some guys finding a couple good sets in early Jan. Not the norm for here, I guess. I have seen a couple bucks with one side, or none at all, but still see the most with both.

I finally found a shed. It was only a small 4pnt. However I think my Big 8 I am looking for still has his rack. I found fresh trees rubed up!

Awesome! especially to find a matching set! Looked at Mossy Oaks new offering for collecting racks but will have to pass, was a plastic food bucket with a spreader up top and rubber bungee cords placed around the circle bottom and top. They wanted about $250 BUCKS!!!! Oh well enjoy the scouting, exercise, and thrill of the hunt for sheds better than an antler trap anyhow, good job and good shed hunting!!
