I used to use lightfield in my 870 with variable results.
I switched guns to a Tar-Hunt with 300g Hornady SST's and I can't complain with the 100yd grouping.

im a winchester winlight man... but these look good as well and they are cheap

IMO....to each gun their own, it doesn't matter if it's the most expensive or cheapest ammo on the market!

hate to sound like an ass but you are asking all these people to donate money toward your dogs surgery and then asking the same people for advice on your next purchase for your gun. dont know how old you are, but when i got a new job and didnt get paid for a month, my guns got sold to get me through cause thats about all i had worth anything. i have a wife and two kids and guess what, i still dont have any guns yet. I kept my bow thank god, and am hoping to get a new one this year but well see how that goes. if you need to take donations for something, you shouldnt be affording yourself any extras.

That sucks about your dog man, I feel for you. But man you got a set,,LOL. To each thier own but I wouldn't sell my guns or anything to give my dog that surgery, let alone ask for money. I know it sucks man, but you really have to think this one out. And not to be cold hearted but a new pup is cheaper and really helps the pain of loosing a dear friend.
