Default Question about Scent Lok headcovers

I' m looking into getting a Scent Lok headcover, mainly one in the Savanna Series line. If you have a Scent Lok or Scent Blocker headcover, does it affect your shot with a bow, like with a kisser button or anything? Thanks

I' ve got a microfleece Scent-Lok headcover, very
comfortable. Doesn' t affect my shot at all, but then
I use a peep. I did have to cut holes out for the
ears, much better now.

I have a Scent Lok headcover. I would estimate that you could easily use it when bow hunting/kisser button. You can easily stretch it under your chin upon seeing/hearing deer. I would estimate that you could also shoot with it when worn properly. They seem to work well to block scent. Good luck!

mfrofadventure, Thanks for the info, I have been wondering about this for a number of years now.
Also, have you ever hunted around Indian Mound golf course? I never hunted in that area but, I have seen more deer and deer sign there than any other area between Indian Mound and Conway. Pike

I cut a little slash on each side of the headcover where my mouth is....this way i can pull it around my ears if i want to hear better........or like it was said earlier, when a deer is approaching, i pull it under my chin and use the kisser as usual..
hope this helps

Pike,

No, I have not hunted in that area of the state. However, that area does have good hunting based on Fish & Game records. Go to their web site to see the 2002 hunting report. http://www.wildlife.state.nh.us/ Good Luck!
