well when i bought my .270 i was looking for a nice scope.. and i went to Wal-Mart and found a bushnell on sale for like 50 bucks.. it is a 3 x 9.. and it hasnt failed me yet, my dad was even surprised at how cheap it was

i have used a leupold vari-xiii 3.5x10 for 20 years. it is very durable and never looses it' s zero .
