I got a couple of fox's this weekend and I plan to have one mounted and the other one I skinned out and stuck the pelt in the freezer. Does anyone know where I can get instructions on how to tan a pelt? I know that predators have a bacteria that will detoriate the skin and cause the hair to fall out, so I want to make sure that I preserve the pelt as best I can. Any suggestions would be helpful!

Smokepole.A web site called Van Dykes Taxidermy has information on tanning hides and kits.I saw one kit that will tan up to 3 deer hides which claims to be simple to do.
