It would be cool to be able to hunt in Montana where I was born and raised for "resident" rates. I live in Florida but it would cost me an arm and a leg to go back "home" to hunt. Annoying.

I can sympathize with those who have to pay non-resident to hunt their home states. I live in Texas, but hunt Texas and Arkansas, my home state. I pay $300 a year to hunt fifteen miles from where I was raised. Then I get the locals tresspassing on my land/leases, because they know I'm not there all the time. Really sucks.

I don't really care and it isnt really any of my business whether the guy on the neighboring tract of land is NR. NR is kind of a broad term anyway since I was raised in Illinois and own land there, but am considered NR because i got an Ohio drivers license several years back. So, it always amuses me when a bunch of deer hunters with anti-Non Resident hunter bumper stickers on their trucks are parked in my dad's driveway in Illinois next to my car with Ohio plates.

It's just as it implies. I never met anyone who had a foot run over by a semi.
Yourquestion and answer to mine doesn't make any sense. There are a lot of hunters who don't like n/r hunters coming into their state to hunt. I don't mind as I stated. Just as long as they pay for their tag and hunt ethically.Could the question be any simpler? I say like another poster did that we are all in this together. It isn't the n/r hunters who make the rules, they just take advantage of them, it's conservation departments.
What kind of question is that? That's like asking....Anyone else hate it when a semi-truck runs over your foot?
