Sunny South? Ha! Thats right up the road but no this is a Packers Bend buck. If you know where that is then I' m really impressed. How are you familiar with Sunny South? Do you hunt here?
PAhunter, no I don' t know his age nor am I sure how to determine it. I know that it can be estimated by tooth wear but who could I get to do it? I would like to know myself. Hope he passed on some genes before he passed on himself.

Todd; Congrats on the awesome find.
If you were able to retrieve the lower jaw bones with the teeth intact here is some info to help you to try and estimate the deers age. http://www.npwrc.usgs.gov/resource/t...teth/howto.htm

RE: Found this Turkey hunting
Many years ago (about 30) I did a good bit of hunting in the Thomasville, Coffeeville and Camden areas and have been through your part of the woods a time or two.
