I'd take a doe over a buck almost any day, unless the rack was really something immense. Though to be honest, I don't know why I'd take the big buck for his antlers. I think does taste alot less like buck piss and don't need to be aged for nearly as long. So I don't know if I'd take a big buck over a doe... Matter of fact, I don't really get all the hype surrounding them horns... I think I need to look for some recipes, antlers always come out tough, I've even tried throwing them in the crockpot all day!

I'm not a head hunter, and there are vastly more does where I live than bucks, some are just as large as bucks since few people want them. The one I shot a few weeks ago was at least 130 lbs,only 30 lbs under the average for a buck in this region.
