I thought this year was really hard when it came to seeing deer. I may have seen about 8-9 deer all season 3- were bucks , I did see a big 8 pter that i would have put on the wall but he was 70 yards away when i seen him and it was during bow season. didn't see him the rest of the season.Hope he makes it threw the winter and the remainder of our deer season.

Although I did shoot my best buck to date out of state this year, this was by far the worst year hunting in my home state of Mass. that I have ever had. Pathetic.

It's slow in SC too. There's plenty of sign but the deer are still nocturnal. Nighttime lows this week are in the mid 50s and the moon will be out. My only hope for seeing a deer in daylight is being in position right after a long rain or jumping them up during a stalk through the pines.
