i am looking for a good method for scoring whitetail bucks in the boone and crockett system. is there a website out there with tips? I have heard there are some good ways to field judge whitetails and some quick methods to estimate scores. anybody have any tips? i hunt in PA.

If you'd like complete instructions, they sell B&C scoring kits at Bass Pro and Cabelas. As far as field judging, a deers spread will not add up as fast as long, heavy tines. Look for a deer with antlers at least aswide as his eartips which is approximately 16-20 inches depending of age of deer. Look forlong main beams andlong tines, especially G2's and G3's. Its been my experience the darker the antlers, the older the deer which usually results in more mass. I like to compare the lengthof the G2's and G3's to the length of the ears or nose to eyes which on a maturewhitetail is 8-10 inches.
