I got until the 13th to get out there and get me a deer with my bow! Im hunting southern maine any thoughts on how I should be hunting. Its about 19 degree and no snow on the ground. I got a climbing stand. Should I still be using Doe in heat scent?

Find a food source with deer sign around it. For mornings try to intercept the deer heading from the food source to their bedding area. In the evenings sit close to the food source and progressively move deeper in the wood until you start seeing deer before it gets dark. Without a better description of your hunting area that's about the best I can do.

It also depends on what stage of the rut you are in. Iam in MA and are rut is still going strong.I would find a nice swampy area and look for sign near there if they are out of the
Rut in your area the big boys will be finding the thickest cover to regain some of that 25% body fat lossthere only worry after the rut is FOOD food food if there is a stand of oaks near a swampy area this will be your best bet.
happy hunting hope some of this helped,Ian

Swamps!
Find some activity and sit tight.
The deer have probably been pressured and will retreat to the thick stuff, along with forage the swamp offers.
Mushrooms, ferns, roots from blown over trees, etc.
