Default Friday the 13th Doe

Well when I went out I knew my luck would be really good or something bad would happen. About 5:30 I heard footsteps behind me and I looked back and saw a nice doe about 30 yards away. She was feeding on acorns and making her way to a shooting lane on my left side. I stood up and got my bow ready but she started to feed over to the right and I couldn't see her. She proceeded to go to the right until she was about 5 steps from my tree and I was frozen for about 10 mins. Finally I peeked over my shoulder and saw her licking her shoulder so I slowly turned to my right. Well she caught a movement or something and stared e down for a few seconds then trotted off to about 20 yds. I drew back and settled my pin on her and fired. My shot was a bit high but as she ran off, I saw her fall on top of the next ridge over. There she layed, my first with a bow. I was the happiest guy in the woods that day. Here she is.
