Mi deer hunting what caliber
i live in northern Mi and do a lot of deer hunting with my dads 06 and i was looking to get a gun of my own so i am gonna ask you mi deer hunters what you yhink yhe best caliber is to use for in the feild and in the hardwoods

I use a .270 when in MI, my father used a 30-06 as well as a few others in our camp. I'd go with the 06. Its a universal gun and can be used for a lot of big game.
