Memorable weekend!
Well, I'm back at the desk after 12 hours driving, 4 deer down, football team victory, and a few memories that won't soon be forgotten.
I happened across this youngster at 4:45 opening night (Friday). His length fooled me, and he ended up being a 2.5 year old with tons of potential
Anyway, the hunt was great. Saw 17 in 9 hours of sitting. The deer isn't my biggest, and I wish I would have let him walk, but he is mine and I am proud of him!

Nice. My football team lost. I spent all weekend in the woods and didn't see a deer. Saturday morning it was 21 degrees and my water bottle froze. The idiot up the hill from my ladder thought that a bleat can as loud as a truck horn should be used as often as possible. He once hit it 6 times in 4 minutes. Plenty of sign but no deer.
