Hey all. New here, first post. Have a question, I got a Gorilla Scout hang on a few days ago to use for quick in/ out hunts with some climbing sticks and was messing around with it on a tree at ground level. Does anyone else use this stand? I am having problems getting it to "seat" right on the tree. Have tried a few different size trees, but for some reason the top "V" on the seat post and the bottom two anchors are hard to line up with the tree trunk. The "V" either pulls away from the tree when I put pressure on the seat, or the bottom anchors are hard to fix solid to the tree. I'm used to a climber, and have never used a hand-on, so maybe thats it...
Just trying to get it figured out before I'm 15' up in the air and have problems. Thanks

I use them,
When you attach the stand to the tree make sure the platform is folded up. Tighten the strap with platform folded up and when you get it tight then push the platform down, this will lock it into place.
I do that with every gorillai own, and i own probably 15 of them. there solid as can be after that.
