fishingguy23, where do you live? I got one thats brand new that I will let go for what I payed $100. got more then I need now. just couldnt past on that price hell I payed more for the one thats in the woods right now I think its a 12 foot.

For a two man stand your probably looking at around $ 150 or better. If your serious about building one you can probably do it for around $ 80 to $100 for all the lumber, screws, etc. Then you have to lug it into the woods and put it together. IT WILL NOT BE MOBILE, at least not easily. I would suggest buying one to make your life a lot easier. They all come with safety harness's which if this intended for use with your child I highly recommend using.

They come with TWO full safety harnesses. Those in themselves are worth abou $100.00!

It won't help you this year, but D ick's (It won't let me say word, but it rhymes with "Kick" and starts with a "D") Sporting Goods always has good prices on Ladder stand and there after the season sale is insane. Stands for around $30. Here is there list of stands now:
