Why would you want to burn it???

I assume that he is wanting to keep it in a bottle, and if he doesnt heat it up and kill all the bacteria it will get moldy.

Set a GLASS bottle w/ the doe P on your thermocell, minus the bug pad.

Set the bottle, or a pad dampened with the urine, on a hand warmer, the common "shake n' bake" cheapos work well for this purpose. You don't want to overheat it.
