I've got the tarsal glands from an estrus doe in the freezer from last year and will be thawing them out shortly. Hope they work on my decoy.

I was wondering about this as well. I still have a doe tag and a buck tag and I was wondering about draining the bladder of a mid-November doe (and taking glands). Seems like it should work great, but who wants to be cleaning a doe when there are rut-crazed bucks running around! Maybe I'll shoot the doe last and just save it all for next year.

Plain urine from the bladder is useless other than a curiosity scent. The urine doesn't change throughout the season. Pee is pee. The desireable scents come from vaginal and gland secretions.
