Just want to see what type of bucks people shoot and why. I shoot 130s and bigger because I'm on the management plan, and within the next year or two I'll be shooting 140s and bigger.

Right now we got plenty of meat from last year, but if we were hurting bad for meat, I'd shoot the first buck that walks by. We normally get at least 3 or 4 does, and 2 bucks, so we normally don't ever need to buy meat.

I would vote none of the above on that poll.
I base my decision more on the age of the animal than the size of the antlers. I would pass on a 130" 3 1/2 year old but I would shoot a 130" 5 1/2 year old.
I'm trying to hold out for a 4 1/2 year old deer this year. I have 2 of them that I've gotten on camera over the summer, hopefully I'll see them during shooting hours during the season.

I have no reason to shoot smaller bucks. I would rather let my any deer tag turn in to an antlerless tag for the second season than shoot a 100 incher. But, we do have a lot of nice bucks around here, mainly because I share the same theory on deer hunting as most of the other hunters around here.

I understand about the age thing, and I'll eventually start shooting bucks that are at least 4 1/2, but for now, I moved from shooting 120s and up to 130s and up. I'll slowly make it there.
