I just think jim was trying to make it clear that cowboy did not write this story.Pry should have made it more clear that this came from an email.I, too, have read this story on here before. It is very funny.

well it says at the very beggining.."actual letter from someone who farms and writes well"..but i guess it could have been a little more clear...bet i kinda got the picture that he didnt write it..but yea its a great story..and its the first time ive seen it

I used to work with a guy that saidhis uncle killed a deer by jumping out of a tree onto it. Apparently it was during some type of survival training in the 70's, and they had to live off the land. He used his knife to make a spear a climbed up a tree over a trail. A few hours later a deer walked under him and he tried that move that Rambo did in "first blood" with the hog. Turned out he didn't need the spear, the deer died when he landed on it.
