That actually was quite entertaining. Those people are so completely blind. What strikes me as the most hypocritical of all is that they demand that we stop "persecuting natural predators" so that the animals can keep the population balance on their own. So basically, rather than have a hunter issue the animals quick a painless deaths, they'd rather that a pack of coyotes tear at them and begin eating their flesh before they even stop kicking. How backward is that?

Personally I disagree with the entire page. Hunting is my God given right, government regulates it into a priveledge and to try to be a good ethical hunter and christian, I obide by man's laws to the betterment of all both man and animal.
The rest, narrow minded propaganda and not surprising given the page it come from.....[&:]

What really stands out to me is the lack of reality in the recommended alternative means to reduce deer herd population. I am pretty sure from an economical standpoint the DNR in my state is very similar to every other state in the country. In other words; they don't have much of a budget to work with.
These contraceptive solutions take tons of money to implement. That is something DNR just doesn't have much less the manpower.
This anti-slanted argument is not a sound argument. Why not let bow-hunters hunt in more urban environments if that is where the "overpopulated" deer actually are? It’s because morons like this say no when you ask them if you can park in their driveway, so you can hunt the woodlot adjacent to his little posh piece of property.[&:]
