I used to work with a guy that saidhis uncle killed a deer by jumping out of a tree onto it. Apparently it was during some type of survival training in the 70's, and they had to live off the land. He used his knife to make a spear a climbed up a tree over a trail. A few hours later a deer walked under him and he tried that move that Rambo did in "first blood" with the hog. Turned out he didn't need the spear, the deer died when he landed on it.

I tried doing this once but the safety harness caught me[8D]
