If I had the extra cash to throw around, I would go with the Zeiss. Either is a great choice though. I have a LeupoldVX III 2.5-8x40, but I would still go with the Zeiss.

I'm going through the same dilemma for my savage 300 win mag and I'm going to go with Zeiss. I went and looked through both and the Zeiss just looked a lot better to me. Good luck.

Thanks for the opinions guys! I went up to the shop last night and looked through both scopes right at dusk, and for a half hour afterwards.

Honestly....they both looked exactly the same to me.....which was EXCELLENT. I really did not see a "better" or "brighter" image through the Zeiss. They were both great....so I ended upgoing withthe old reliableLeupold and saving the extra 200 bucks.......which I ended up spending on 4 boxes of ammo anyways!!

Thanks again for the ideas! Cant wait to get the barrel back from Magna-Port so I can finally blow some rounds through it!!
