Default RE: info on foodplot

im trying not to be negetive, but your first statement (rodclop) is not very do-able...inside the woods there is almost no way for plants to take root, and the soil health is not that great

your best bet would be to find a patch of grass (in a field not the woods) and mowe it down to nothing, and disc it up deeper than usual, wait a few days, let the soil aerate, then drag it and disc it again but not deep and plant your seeds...wait for stuff to grow, and mowe the grass down constantly-until your foodplot gets tall, then mowe it occasianally with the blade high

this worked for my 3 acre white clover/chickory plot
