Looking for a low recoil 20 ga slug for my 9 yr old to shoot out of the single shot Rosi rifled slug barrel.
Had been using Lightfields, they kick pretty good.
He will be restricted to ~40 yard shots.
Thanks,

A friend of mine has a trap gun that has a antirecoil shok piston installed. Kicks about like a .22. I think they are a little pricey tho. A good Limb Saver recoil pad will help a bunch.

stay away from high speed 20ga then.....I think normal 20ga slugs out of a decent weighted 20ga would be fine....
not sure they make light loads....check into that.
certainly a squishy recoil pad would help out a ton in felt recoil.....
having the gun fully loaded will add some weight so at the range......rather than just loading 1 at time....is 1 idea/suggestion

^ its a rossi, so it probaly gonna be a singleshot, so it would be lighter, but i would go to walmart and spend 20 bucks on a limbsaver slip on recoil pad it should help a bunch.
