So, following suite with that quiz.... I guess that hunting is no longer really hunting, its just the adaptation to scenarios encountered by the author?
Some of it was useful, but like most things in field and steam... It was crap.

If it says field and stream I pretty much disregard everything!

I think if I ever learned everyhting there was to know about whitetails it would take all the fun and challenge out of hunting them and I would quit. One thing I have found about all wild animals though, is that know matter how well you think you understand them they are apt to do the total opposite of what you expect, and throw all of what you thought you knew out the window. They do behave in somewhat predictable ways, water, food, shelter, and breeding, but they are free thinking wild animals with a will and a character as individual and unique as our own.

Yeah that was lame. Field and Stream makes me laugh with some of their crap they used to put out. I havent read one in years so I dont know much about their content anymore. But they used to have those scenario articles with the stupid little drawing of how to set up in different situations. They would always show the exact path that booner was gonna walk with little red dashes and arrows. You'd always be lookin for that big red X so you'll know where to set your stand. Set up on the west face of the hill just below the old logging road that goes through the pine thicket and you'll get him for sure, haha. Good ol Field and Stream.

THat was a pathetic quiz I got 14 out of 16 and made gueses on some what i thought "they" would say and was right... some stupid **** if you ask me.

I got 12 out of 16.Considering I've never gone hunting before, thats not to bad. I guess its because I've been doing a lot of research on hunting.
