Anyone who says or thinks they would or might shot anything that they don't have a license to hunt and is in season and can't definitely identify that it's the game they can legally hunt, I don't think has any business being armed in the field, woods or anywhere in the same state as me.
There are some pretty big guys who in a gilley suit in brush and low light might look to someone like some strange creature. But I guarantee the jury isn't going care that you "thought the guy looked like big foot" before you shot him before they through the book at you and send you to prison and rightfully so!
It's really irresponsible to even think of "taking the shot" at something you can't identify or legally hunt.
Like I say....
