You won't need more than the 270. The 300 WinMag will give you longer legs. If you ask of those who have hunted Bou you'd find that they are not at all hard to put down. Getting towhere you can takea shot, now that's the hard part.

.270 is plenty of gun for a bou, but one thing you might want to consider. Where there are bou, there are grizzly's! For that reason, I'd probably take the .300, but no reason to take 2 big guns if you will be together most of the time.
