ORIGINAL: ogg

Last year i put out 50lbs of corn every other night. The deer were eating it good but were not super crazy about it and was wondering what else i could put out that they would go crazy for?
If you're using corn I'm going to assume that you don't live in a farm state. Keep in mind that deer that don't have corn available to them on a regular basis don't have the microbes necessary to digest corn in their gut. They were probably having trouble digesting it!

any powder attractant can be mixed with corn and fed through a feeder. With buck jam you hafta mix it and then let it dry. Personally I like to stick to the powder stuff, unless I'm just puttin the corn on the ground then I'll use the liquid stuff sometimes.

Something cheap and easy is molasses. I pour about three gallons over a stump. They love to lick it off and will eat the wood that the mollases has soaked into. You can take a bucket into a feed store and buy it for next to nothing.

its crazy how deer in differnt areas prefer different things, we put out molasses a couple times a few years ago and the deer wouldn't touch it
