ok ok...it was my first flintlock kill...had 2 yearlings running right at me...figured both would been does...buttons are usually alone from my expirience...KAPOW!! smoke cleared...he was down for the count..turned out to be a button buck...no regrets...he was delicious...and his hide will look awesome on my wall...
heres my best buck...seriously, dont laugh! first bow kill...only my 3rd buck..
i'll get around to becoming a buck hunter sooner or later...dad loves venison...i was never picky and we usually dropped the first legal deer that we didnt think was a BB and celebrate...

Killed 2 good bucks this year, one was the best i will probably ever kill but who knows?! Top buck is a 136" 10 point i shot in oklahoma and the bottom is a 218" kansas brute i shot with my black powder. Both shot in the 2007 season.

Great deer everyone! And thanks for all the comments. He is going to be featured in an article in "Great Plains Game and Fish" in September, under the "Giants of the midwest" article. Cant wait to go back next year!
