baiting tips for deer?

i have heard of people putting out hay bales for deer and them eating them

One thing you HAVE GOT to remember about corn, it's not exactly the best thing for your deer. Corn, to deer is just like candy, it has almost zero nutritional value to them (but hey, during the winter corn in the tummy is better than a leaf on the ground right?). Once you have gotten an area established and have the deer coming to it regularly, give them something good for them. Antler King pellets are high in protein, fat, and fiber and have a high digestability (sp?) rate. Ask yourself this: Am I feeding my deer sweettarts or steak?

Also corn is consumed by a lot of other wildlife as well, 'coons, squirrells, crows, etc.
