I'm headed up to our property in Northern Michigan next week for a week of hunting, there is about a foot of snow on the ground and it is mainly hardwoods so there aren't any fields to hunt. The deer aren't moving much and when they are it is late at night, what do you guys recommend, and baiting is legal here so we do have some corn feeders going.

only advce i can give is if you have time try to figure out where they are bedded and where they are feeding thenput yourself close enough to the bedding area so when they get up to feed they will be walking by you in the daylight.

I'm in Mid-Michigan. Most of the deer activity seems to be in the evening. I've got eleven acres and they just go from food to food. Hunt near the feeders! They are not moving a lot, I jumped two does yesterday about 30yds from where I feed them. Even after that, they were back that evening to eat. If youve got all harwoods, I would try to find theyre routs in and out.
