In Pennsylvania, it would be the first two days of the rifle season - followed closely by the two Saturdays.
If you are in a area that is posted and do not have the option of other hunters to move the deer for you, my answer would be from first light until 1 and then 3 pm to dark.
First thing in the morning and the last hours of night at the time when the deer are most active.

I think it depends on your spot. I hunt a fully private spot right by my house and those deer never were hunted so they came out any time they wanted to.. but then again i hunt another place where it is open to the public but only fri threw mon. and i find bigger bucks comin out at night. just depends on where you hunt and how much pressure they get there i think

thanks fellas, it is 5 AM and I am about to leave for my morning hunt. I am hunting a bedding area next to a field, I put a blind next to this 6ft wide path the deer must cross to get to there. I missed a buck there on Saturday, I didnt shoot at him, he came zooming by at 20 yds and by the time I got my gun ready he had crossed the path. I was so mad, it would have been my first buck.
