It never amazes me that people will empty a magazine at a running deer that is farther away than most of them can hit a stationary target.
I'm going to guess you are fairly young, I only wish you had better people to learn from.

Well you think that was bad try this seen a big doe 1st day shoot at her nothing.Next 2 days rain wet snow was so bad couldn,t see 30'. The 4th day snow and freezing rain had a buck come up behind me prob 20' away I thought it was a ******squirrel the place is over run with em . Shot 3xs nothing so the next day went back to the same spot changed my plan of attack and he walk,s out from behind me this time . I was watching the bush from the day before he was there before I was this day shot at him 2xs 50yds waited lined em up missed. Found that the screw holding the front sight was shook lose from the 1st day out the biggest buck we have ever seen in this area time for a scoped barrel.
