Im sure everybody gets tired of hearing people ask when the rut is...BUUUUUT...WHEN IS IT?! hahaha Im going to central Kansas to hunt some private land Nov. 21. When does the rut typically get going pretty good that way? I sure hope I dont miss the majority of it! This will be my first trip hunting in Kansas. Im sure it will be alot different than hunting our small Tennessee deer!

Rut in north central KS is in high gear right now! Although you can still see a few bucks chasing..... I imagine you'll be hunting the post rut. I'm headed out the 27th for the rifle season,and the bigger bucks will be active mostly very early or late,but still quite huntable. Best of luck to you!
