I so ready, It's been to long. Can't wait, I leave tomorrow after work to head out and start this years archery hunting. All the stands have been checked all my hunting gear is scent free and ready to go!

yep it is going to be a good weekend. Temps in the low 50s an the deer still naked.I got luck an drawn at welden springs so I will be able to spend alot of time in the woods.

Wait til OCT 27-28. thats the weekend to bow hunt. I know its the youth firearm season. But, I guarantee you that the Pre Rut will be hopping...... I never bow hunt until at lest OCT 15 but thats just me.

I got picked to bow hunt here at Longview lake last here, (Kansas City area) It was insane on how many deer I saw, shot two does had a chance on some nice bucks, but things just did'nt work out they way I wanted.Of course this was a park in the burbs!Like you said, the weather should be sweet!Well good luck this season!

I agree the weekend right before Halloween is a sweet time to hunt, but I've seen and killed alot of deer in September and the begining of October. Besides I love to deer hunt and to just be in the woods hunting! Good Luck.

Too early for me. Weather was good this weekend, though. Did some scouting but I wait til Oct 1 to get serious about hunting. I hate fighting gnats and mosquitos this early.
