Illinois boys all ready for the 1st?
Well fellas, after tomorrow we close to just a month away from opening day! it is a cool evening and we all know those headgear wearin' hogs are out frollickin' around and little do they know what we have in store! my heart is pounding just thinking about it! who has their bows all tuned and ready to go!! Illinois Bowhunting: Now that's the Shhhhhh!
P.S. don't forget to practice in low light and with your hunting gear adorned and broadheads affixed, might have to make adjustments with your mask and gloves on, most of you know these things, just a reminder!

Oh I'm ready. Have stands set up in Jefferson County, Monroe County and Pike County.. Monroe is my "go to" for this year. Can't wait.. May do a little MO hunting also...

demo, i envy you man, i don't get to sling arrows until the 1st! i am a poor college student right now and can't afford to make trips, but an elk hunt is on the herizon!

Have a great trip demo!!! The illinois countdown started awhile ago. I decided to get a 2 week jump on the season this year and do a little Wisconsin hunting starting Sept. 15!

i just misspelled horizon, and i am going to Graduate?? anyway, am i the only one that isn't going hunting before the 1st somewhere??? guess i will just have to wait the 31 more antagonizing days!

I got the food plots planted last weekend, and doing all the final touches on the treestands this weekend. I shot a bit out of a treestand last night, every thing is looking good for me and not so good for the deer.

We have been shooting a bunch every night this week up until we can barely see anymore. Groupin awesome at 30 yards...had some problems with my dropaway after the guy at the shop took it apart, and it fell apart on my as I was shooting...so I am back with a biskit for the season, but oh well...
