I say you turn them and geterdun in lol!!! kiddin geterdun! but seriously, i would contact the local conservation officer and have them keep an eye on the area. they will work with you and if you let them know about your concerns they can gelp. geterdun, yea, it is JUST a little pot.....but no matter how little the amount it is, nothing about the amount makes it legal! it is illegal and that is the bottomline, call the conservation officers in your area and they will help you!

I found a patch of pot a few weeks ago and called the police right away. They showed up about an hour later and I led them in. Then one of the rookie cops started asking questions like he had seen to many episodes of CSI. I outright told him to go find someone to give a ticket to for speeding and told the detective on scene that I pretty much find them EVERY year.I took his card and told him I would call if I stumbled on any more.
If i'm just scouting this time of year I carrymy kids 20 guagerem cause it's so lightbut I sure don't want a shootout with number 6 shot.
I can just about guess where these clowns are gonna try and grow and they stand out like a sore thumb. At $1200 a poundyou can see why they do it.Probably worth more than corn....

I haven't stumbled on any personally yet but when I do I'll be calling in the law. I have my region office and a few of the game wardens #s on my cell along with local LEO. I had a buddy at work just told me him and his buddy was squirrel hunting and wandered into a very large patch. He said he was confronted by about6 guys in ski masks with rifles and told in a not so politically correct way to remove himself from the area and forget what he saw. I've tried to talk to him but he's too scared to call it in. I've never used it, never will and I don't agree with any statements that "a little won't hurt" or crap like that. If they legalize that then in a few years it'll be " a little meth is alright" and so on. If you hide these illegal activities you are no better. Like I told him. What about when some kid buys plenty of it, gets smoked up and goes for a ride and hits and kills someone or something along those lines?

londisland do what you feel is right, but atleast you got the opinions of a few people from both sides. i just dont think its worth it. if they have ur tag #, make and model and all, what will stop them from causing damage when you are parked and in the woods hunting, leaving at night time with you wife. like planter said, at 1200 bucks a pound, im sure they will not let it go easily. even if they dont cause physicaly harm, property damage can get expensive, and im not willing to get into that, especially if its public land - which isnt mine. i say mind ur business, you cant go wrong by doing that. if they didnt know ur info and all that, then i would say maybe turn um in, but they very well might know alot about you just by ur tag.

and for all those who say its legal, i understand that, but so is speeding down the road in ur car. do you call the cops on everyone you see speeding? No i would think not. and this is even worse because they know roughly who he is. im not about to get in a shoot out over some pot plants, no matter how illegal they are. there would be a few things i would get into a gun battle for, if need be, and stumbling upon some pot plants that arent on my land isnt on the top of my list. just my opinon

rockpile - i guess we are jus to different type of people, which is fine. im not going to get my arms beat/broke for a dog, maybe if it was my dog, but it would be extremely iffy. it seems like you want to take matters in ur own hands, like you look for situations where you can. why didnt you just call the LEO on the people mistreating the dog?
i sort of understand about the black guy in the bar, i agree pretty much with that, but that is a human beings life. its not a pot plant or an object

leehop - he would not be as guilty as the perp. he is protecting his family and trying to stay clear of trouble. which i understand. again, if you see soemone speeding, do you call the police? speeding is much more dangerous than some pot, IMO. if a person speeds, you see them, dont call the cops, and they go and kill someone, do you feel responsible and feel you should go to jail? i hope not. thats pretty much the same situation.

homers brother - that kind of proves my point, if they are willing to defend it, or retaliate if its found, then why put urself in that position? why not just mind ur business and stay clear. and maybe hes not selling it, maybe he smokes himself, you dont know the situation, neither do i, but people do grow weed i would think just to smoke. but since we dont know, we cant speculate, which is why i like to stay on the safe side. like i said, maybe it is a major gangs operation, do you really want to get involved in that? just my opinion
