Yep, they look like year and a half to me too.
As said, genetics and nutrition will determine antlers.
Here in the Midwest, I've shot year and a half bucks that were 7 points.
I would say around here, most bucks have around 6 pts by 1.5.
I almost never see a spike.
But back in OK where my parents live, it is common to see spikes.

It takes about 4.5 to 5.5 years to develope into trophy class animals... at 2.5 years they might be 13-15" wide
