Backyard Deer Food Plot
#2

I have a plum, apple and mayhaw tree that gets them in the yard. While they are there, they like to eat anything else I might have growing in my garden. Getting them to come isn't the problem, it's getting them to go away. BTW, if you have any kind of exterior light, you'll almost never see one during the day, when you can shoot them.

You can either just put out a few pounds of corn on the ground and soon as the deer eat it up, keep adding to the area or you can put out a feeder. If there are deer in the area they will soon find it. We have deer in our yard and in the green field back of the house all the time, day and night. They don't seen to pay any attention to the outside lights. They eat on the flowers and bushes next to the house all the time.

They eat almost any thing. bananas, grapes, potato peelings. all my fruit and veggy waste goes on the feed pile. they seem fond of anything the wife dont want them to eat. she calls them long legged rats. the deer come in atall times. day or night. theywont even leave when the dog goes out to plant land mines.I put out 1 gallon of corn a day. I get all kinds of critters.
