Default Deer Feeders

OK everyone I have a 55gallon feeder on a tripod and I am setting it up this weekend and I was just wondering how many times a day you guys have it throw corn, and how much per cycle..

I was thinking twice a day about 8 in the morning and about 4:30 but not sure how much to throw.. Thanks in advance for any info

This time of year with all the other food, I would only feed once a day for 5 seconds. Towards the1st of sept I would step it up to two or more feeds per day.

I always have my feeders set to where they throw at dawn and 30 minutes before sundown and set it to throw for about 6 seconds so the feeder will last over a month without having to be refilled.

I do the dawn and dusk thing too about 10 seconds. My problem has been that the tripod isn't high enough. I have bear knocking the feeder over w/ 200+ pounds of corn in it and coon climbing the metal pole and spinning the wheel to get corn. little creeps.
